Operation Bedroom-Flooring
Tomorrow is the big day. We are getting rid of that awful carpet in our bedroom. I think I found it revolting from day one.... silverfish everywhere - can somebody please tell me WHERE exactly they come from and WHAT exactly they are doing?
Anyways, I emptied the bedroom this afternoon, took the old kingsize bed apart and the only time left was the old matrace...the boys love it. Its a worn out sprung matrace and great for trampolining for 2 and 3 year olds. Way past bedtime I saw the boys singing the Hokey Kokey and jumping on the matrace and off, turning around, giggling and being the best friend ever.
Following sprung into my mind...
Larry La Prise, the man who wrote the 'Hokey Kokey' died peacefully at age 93.
The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin.
They put his left leg in, and then the trouble started.
*worth a chuckle*
Otherwise life is great. We are looking forward to a nice Easteregg-hunt on Sunday and generallyto a peaceful time.
Come'on - let's do the Hokey Kokey and let's turn around.
