Long time....

....and a lot has happend.

Germany is out of the worldcup and Italy won. (congrats!!!!) I must say - apart from the fact, that I really so NOT care about footy - I was not overly sad when we lost. That match to me was the best of the whole tournament and both teams played fair and well and were ever so friendly.
Sure, when Italy scored 2 minuntes before going into penalties, my jaw did drop slightly, but seeing the Italians so happy and chuffed made it for me - that was just so cute to watch. (Can I be MORE girlie?????*chuckle*)

Elsewhere me and Bruce had the first weekend away without the boys - boy was that a build up - I was well nervous saying good-bye.
Not that I was scared they weren't fine with Grandma and Grandad - no - I was more worried, that I am in far away Germany missing them like mad.

But to prevent that, I ended up falling and going to casualty and catching a sickness bug instead. Whoooopey-da-hey.

However, the wedding was lovely, realising that I CAN leave the boys and survive, that it was so nice being with Brucey-baby and obviously seeing my Dad in hospital after his triple bypass was worth the trip.
The most important thing really was seeing Papa - he recovered so well and I am glad everything turned out positive.
The support of everybody around me/us was incredible. I was very scared when Gabi told me the test result on Monday and waiting all Tuesday to hear, that it all went well, was very emotional. I only have him left and he so special.

Anyways, enough of this sloppyness. Oh hang on - got this picture from this evening. How idyllic.
